Apple has confirmed that the Vision Pro will get support for Apple Intelligence features in April. These new tools will be part of the next visionOS update that will be rolling out in the next few months.

Additionally, Apple is launching a new app for the iPhone that will allow users to control app downloads on the device, as well as a new Spatial Gallery app that provides access to curated content on the Vision Pro. A new Guest User mode will also be supported by the Apple Vision Pro, enabling other users to share the headset.

When visionOS 2.4 is released in April, the company claims that Apple Intelligence (AI) features will begin to appear on the Apple Vision Pro. Writing Tools (with ChatGPT integration), Image Playground (with a stand-alone Vision Pro app) and Genmoji are among the features to be included in the initial release. Users who have their device language set to English (US) will be the first to receive access to these features.

Furthermore, the Photos app will allow users to create Memory Movies and support natural language search queries. The Mail and Messages applications will also provide features like Smart Reply. Meanwhile, Priority Messages in Mail and Notification Centre, Mail Summaries, Notification Summaries and Image Wand in Notes are additional capabilities that will be available on the Vision Pro.

A guest user mode that enables owners of the spatial computer to share it with other users is one of the most eagerly awaited features of the Apple Vision Pro. According to Apple’s description, the Guest User mode won’t be a full-fledged multi-user system that enables a different user to have their login credentials.

The Apple Vision Pro will allow a visitor to save their hand and eye configuration for a maximum of 30 days after using the gadget. Following an update to visionOS 2.4, owners of Apple Vision Pros now choose which apps other users can access on the headset and launch a new Guest User session using their iPhone or iPad.

Owners of Apple Vision Pros who update to iOS 18.4 will see a new app on their phone that enables remote control of apps on the headset. In addition to downloading apps and games, users can also view device information and receive suggestions for new material, such as Apple Immersive titles or 3D movies, the company claims.

A new Spatial Gallery for the Vision Pro will be available on the headset with Apple’s visionOS 2.4 update. This application will display panoramas, spatial films, spatial images and other content created to maximise the mixed reality headset's displays. “Art, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, nature, sports and travel" will be among the many subjects covered in these.

According to Apple, users who have set their device language and Siri language to English (US) will be the first to get access to the Apple Intelligence features when the visionOS 2.4 update is released for the Apple Vision Pro in April. Other countries where the headset is sold, including Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, are also anticipated to get the feature.
