Adobe's innovative generative AI technologies are set to transform the digital editing landscape. One of their latest breakthroughs, “Firefly Bulk Create," enables users to modify backgrounds or resize up to 10,000 photos with just a single click. This powerful tool streamlines the editing process, significantly reducing the time and effort typically spent on manual adjustments.

Firefly Bulk Create: All About It And How Does It Work?

Firefly Bulk Create was developed by merging multiple Firefly-powered APIs from Adobe. The primary goal was to make these tools easier to use for creatives without a lot of coding knowledge. On Adobe’s Firefly web app, Bulk Create is currently in the beta phase and is divided into two distinct tools: “Remove Background" and “Resize."

You can easily upload photos for Bulk Create's “Remove Background" feature using your computer, Dropbox, or Adobe Experience Manager. The app efficiently removes backgrounds from any image, making it a valuable tool, especially for product marketers who need quick, hassle-free edits.

Additionally, you can use HEX codes to swap out backdrops for a specific image or colour. You can save the altered batches as JPG or PNG files (Photoshop PSD files will be available soon).

Furthermore, preset options for common ad banner sizes and platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, are included in Bulk Create’s “Resize" feature. It resizes image backgrounds to match these precise measurements using generative AI.

The technology promises to make background resizing easier for graphic designers working on cross-platform marketing assets, even though certain complicated photos did exhibit noticeable warping during demos.

Moreover, Adobe intends to make new developer APIs for Firefly Services available in the upcoming weeks. These are intended to speed up the operations involved in producing prints and videos. One such program, “Dubbing and Lip Sync," can edit and translate video audio lip movements into 14 other languages. Text and images will be automatically formatted for print and digital media using preset templates by another InDesign tool.

Additionally, Adobe is introducing “digital avatars" that are created using voice recordings and written descriptions. These can be used to show videos and product explainers, and they will be in beta later this month. However, the company has pointed out that employing these new tools would come with a price based on “consumption." To access these capabilities, customers may need to purchase a premium Adobe Firefly plan that offers generative credits.
