Netflix Prices Are Going Up Again: Should Indian Users Worry?

Xiaomi has announced its new flagship smartphone series, which comprises the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The devices are powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, The Xiaomi 15 Pro variant boasts a 2K resolution display, it has Leica-tuned triple back camera system, and it runs HyperOS 2 version. The new phones are the first to launch with the new chipset globally.
It has a 6.36-inch 8T LTPO screen with a resolution of 1.5K (1,200×2,670 pixels), peak brightness of 3,200 nits, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 300 Hz. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC is being used for the first time in the new Xiaomi phone. It has a maximum capacity of 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. You get a triple back camera unit with a Summilux lens under the Leica brand. The camera setup consists of a 50MO telephoto sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.62 aperture. The device comes with 32MP front camera for video chats and selfies.
The Xiaomi 15 supports face unlock and features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It has an IP68 rating for resistance to water and dust. The phone has 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. An e-compass, proximity sensor, linear motor, IR blaster, flicker sensor, colour sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor are among the sensors installed on board. The phone has a 5,400mAh battery that can be charged at 50W wirelessly and 90W wired rapidly.
The standard Xiaomi 15 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 4,499 (Rs 52,000 approx). The price of the 12GB + 512GB model is CNY 4,799 (Rs 56,000 approx), while the 16GB + 512GB model costs CNY 4,999 (Rs 58,000 approx).
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is identical to the vanilla variant in terms of its chipset, SIM, software, water resistance rating, and selfie camera. The Pro variant has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits.

The 15 Pro shares similarities with the Xiaomi 15 model in terms of sensors and networking features. With compatibility for 50W wireless charging and 90W wired fast charging, it has a 6,100mAh battery. The Xiaomi 15 Pro 12GB 256GB RAM and storage option starts at CNY 5,299 (Rs 62,500 approx). It costs CNY 5,799 (Rs 68,000 approx) for the 16GB + 512GB model, and CNY 6,499 (Rs 75,000 approx).
Xiaomi is likely to bring these devices to the Indian market but we don’t see it happening this year.
