Oppo F29 series has launched in India this week, making it the new mid-range device from the company that focuses on design and premium features. The new Oppo F-series models get higher IP69 rating for protection, AI features and they come with a fast-charging battery. Oppo has made some tweaks to the F29 and F29 Pro 5G models and here are all the details about the new smartphones.
Oppo F29 5G price in India starts at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while it costs Rs 25,999 if you want the 8GB + 256GB model. The F29 Pro price starts at Rs 27,999 going up to Rs 31,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
Oppo F29 has the same 6.7-inch AMOLED 120Hz display as the F29 Pro 5G, and even their brightness levels match. However, the F29 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i while the F29 Pro gets Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The regular model is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and the F29 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC with 12GB RAM. Both phones get the Android 15 based ColorOS version and promise 2 OS upgrades with 3 years of security patches.
On the imaging front, the F29 series gets a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. The front comes with a 16MP shooter. Oppo is offering a 6,500mAh battery on the F29 with 45W charging support, while the F29 Pro gets a 6,000mAh battery but with 80W charging speed. These models come with IP69 rating and MIL standards which gives it extra durability.
